The Quarry



The Quarry at Stonehaven is a beautiful pool of crystal clear water surrounded by soaring granite cliffs and gently sloping ledges. The water comes from underground springs, covers about 2 acres and is up to 95 feet deep.

Know locally as "Twins", quarry pools from Lovejoy Granite company are divided by 25ft-thick wall of rock. Stonehaven is on the right.



The quarry is 325' wide and 295' across, with an average depth of 40' it contains about 30 million gallons of water.
